We had the best experience yesterday at the San tan American eagle. I came in to make a return of an online purchase for my child and I was informed that their systems were down unfortunately. I asked if we could still do a fitting to make sure I order the right size for my child online next time and the woman said absolutely. She got a little info about style presences and sizing and went to the back to grab some jeans. During that time I sent my child to look around for some jeans as well. They brought out a pair and the woman who was helping me came out with the sizes for my child to try on. She then quietly informed me that the jeans my (masculine presenting) child picked were women's jeans. I let her know the my child uses They/Them pronouns to which she said "that is so awesome! I can find even more for them to wear!" She got us set up in the dressing room and I can only assume that she let the dressing room attendant know as well because she was very cognizant about using the correct pronouns for them. She even corrected herself when she accidentally slipped up. Both women we incredible and so helpful finding what my child wanted and we walked out with some jeans that were perfect for my child! These small gestures meant the world to me. Even more important, my child felt seen. And they even mentioned it when we left. "Wow mom, they really made a point to use my pronouns! I think I only want to shop here from now on." So thank you to AE for training your staff but more importantly, thank you to the staff at San tan for making my child feel seen and validating their existence. It means more than we could ever being to say.

My fiance came in 30 min before close because we were just going to do a quick try on for jeans. I couldn't find the jeans I wanted in my size so Sandy offered to help me get them shipped, so not only I got the right jeans and right size, but so I could also still save with the buy one get one half off sale. I know alot of salespeople can get a little unhappy with people right before close but Sandy was so helpful and genuinely kind to us. Definitely give that girl a raise!

I don't really review a place unless I know they deserve it and this place is no exception to that. I had a lot of weird moving parts in trying to get some jeans cuz I love this place naturally and I've been going here for new styles for about 10 years. But anyway the ladies and the gentlemen working here were so patient with me in my difficulty trying to figure this out and kept the store clean and presentable in the process.

It was consistent with the brand. It's a little weird that most of the stores have the back door left open though.

Oh my gosh I love this location! I usually come in the morning and this girl named Irelyn and another lady on shift with her (that day she had glasses and a cute head band) Were just so helpful! Always a good vibe in the store and always love to come in!!
